Can I take MitoQ +joint if I have a shellfish allergy?

We can assure that all our supplements, except for MitoQ Joint, do not contain any shellfish ingredients. Our MitoQ +joint contains GLME (Green Lip Mussel Extract Oil), which is a species of shellfish found only in New Zealand. It is a highly purified product which is extracted from mussels via a process called supercritical CO2 extraction. This is a gentle and non-toxic way to extract the lipid portion and contains no proteins. This means there is a significantly lower risk of a reaction for those with shellfish allergies. However, we still highly recommend that our customers with shellfish allergies consult their doctor before using MitoQ Joint.

When should I take MitoQ?

We recommend that you take MitoQ in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before your first meal of the day. You can take MitoQ 2 hours after eating. MitoQ is water-soluble, so it doesn't need to be taken with food or oils to assist with absorption.

What can I expect?

Everyone will experience MitoQ differently, depending on your age, your fitness, your overall health. It can take days, weeks or months for you to experience support for energy levels and health.

Can I take MitoQ with other supplements?

MitoQ can be taken in combination with your other supplements. Some of our products do have vitamins and minerals in them, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on your intake levels of those so that they stay within the recommended range.
